Summer vacation is over and school is back in session. The temperature is starting to drop and the Arbuckle Lake is starting to get a little quieter. As much as I love all the excitement of summer, this is actually my favorite time to enjoy the Arbuckle area.
This weekend, we got up pretty early to take the hike up to Bromide Hill and watch the sunrise. What a beautiful spectacle! I was breathing as deep as I could to take all that fresh morning air in. After spending a few minutes at the top of the hill watching the sunrise at the beginning of this brand-new beautiful day, I felt completely invigorated and ready for another week of work, school, and everything life throws at me. I am glad I can share moments like this with my favorite people in the world.
